Job Description

Evaluate vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the department.
Prioritize all important procurement requests that receives & keep concerned HOD informed.
Collate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order to order materials, goods and supplies.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements
Managing & executing purchase orders that may be initiated by concerned depts/team.
Maintaining the purchasing procedure, policy and ensuring to adhere to it.
Choosing the suppliers/vendor that the company will deal with and maintaining the professional dealing/interaction with them.
Liaison with other departments, particularly the finance departments for payment and settlement with vendors and suppliers.
Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly report as required.
Interact with the suppliers, vendors and agencies on a day to day basis.
Review deliveries against the orders and track the status of any orders.
Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods.
Represent Trujet on any forum or platform wherever required and or as assigned.
Handle additional assigned projects/tasks or operational requirement.
Cordial & professional behavior with the team incl various stations/offices for any requirement.
To prepare necessary MIS/reports and presentation as per management requirement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Should be a graduate with Diploma/MBA in material management. Preferably with technical/aviation background..
4-5 years working experience in purchase, material and vendor management, handling assignments in similar or any organization.
Knowledge of all functional aspects/handling and process & compliance/requirement expected.
Fully conversant in Hindi and English languages, knowledge of local language is an advantage.
Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills.
Able to politely and professionally yet effectively interact with a wide range of individuals including senior leaderships/employees, associates, business contacts.
